Intuit simplifies admin and payroll duties via its new QuickBooks Workforce App

American financial software, Intuit, launched its new QuickBooks Workforce mobile application, designed to help employees across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia reduce administrative and payroll tasks.

The app is accessible via Android and IOS devices and offers users a central location to manage their work and finances, including appropriately billing clients for chargeable time. For employees to be able to plan and make wiser financial decisions for themselves and their families, they must have simple access to pay stubs, tax paperwork, and other pay insights.

Jennifer Bickerstaff, vice president of product management for Intuit QuickBooks, said, “The formerly known QuickBooks Time is now that hub created to help expanding businesses take care of their workforce.”

All users will see the new Workforce name and logo, with all previous QuickBooks Time settings, data, and integrations remaining in place, requiring no further action from the business owners, admins, or employees. QuickBooks Time is Intuit’s time-tracing solution that makes it easy for businesses to manage their teams.

Highlights from the QuickBooks Workforce app that lets employees:

  • A new feature allows you access to pay stubs and W-2s anytime, anywhere.
  • Clock in and out without Wi-Fi or service.
  • Track and submit paid vacation, sick days, and holidays.
  • Manage schedules and edit timesheets.
  • Change task codes, halt tracking, or delay the process altogether.
  • GPS-based time monitoring should be used.
