We’re calling this special contest “Grit & Wisdom – Advice from America’s hard working small businesses” because that’s sums up what makes small businesses tick every day.
What advice would you give other small businesses both established and just starting up? What have you learned that would help other small companies? What have been your successes and how did you achieve them? What were your mistakes and what did you learn from them? What do you wish someone said to you when you started out?
Advice on any aspect of the business is welcome, for example, hiring and retaining people, financial tips, bringing in new customers, taking care of current customers, supplier and vendor relationships, you name it. Whatever you have picked up along the way that you feel would benefit other small businesses.
