Craig Riddle, Owner of North Atlanta Golf Carts, joins us on the Atlanta Small Business Profile with Ted Jenkin to talk about his journey to becoming a successful entrepreneur.
Previously working as the general manager for one of the nicest golf courses in Atlanta, Craig, and his wife decided they wanted to transition into owning their own business and searched a few years before they finally settled on North Atlanta Golf Carts. Craig says that the man from whom he purchased North Atlanta Golf Carts owned the business for almost 21 years, and the transition in ownership was still a smooth one. Craig discusses some of the steps they took in order to bring new life to their business, such as a newly designed website and new social media pages.
Craig says that within the first few years of owning the business, their top priority was reinventing the space: cleaning, painting, organizing, etc. It wasn’t until after they had accomplished those things that they really began to expand into improving the larger aspects of their business. Now, North Atlanta Golf Carts is proud to be one of the only Factory Authorized Golf Card Dealers in Atlanta, offering carts from manufacturers like ClubCar, E-Z-GO and Star. Craig says this helps his company provide the largest selection at the best price for everyone.
