Five Metro Atlanta Conferences Happening in October for Small Business Owners

As the end of 2018 approaches, you may think your chances for networking, education, and business marketing are drawing to a close. While it is true that the opportunities for business learning are a little less plentiful in the last part of the year due to the onset of the holidays, you still have ample opportunity to learn something new. There are still quite a few conferences in the Metro Atlanta area you can plan to attend.

While single workshops are excellent in their own right, conferences give you the opportunity to visit multiple seminars and network with a larger group of people than in a single workshop. So, if you are currently living in or near the city of Atlanta, here are five conferences in the month of October you do not have to hop on a place to attend.

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Atlanta Technology Park

B2B Camp is a user-organized unconference that allows all attendees to participate by presenting their own insights in the B2B sales and marketing sphere. Attendees suggest the day’s topics and the audience votes on what subjects they would like to see turned into breakout sessions for the day. This year’s conference will center around the topic “How to Compete In Today’s Attention Driven Economy!” The event even includes a Happy Hour Social after the day’s activities. So, if you would like to have a say in how you experience a conference, this may be the event for you.

Final Thoughts

Some may be put off from conferences because of the sometimes fast-paced structure and the number of people who may be in attendance. However, if you are an entrepreneur looking to network and build on your skills, conferences can provide much bang for your buck. Many listed above are only one-day, so you do not have to take much time from work to attend them. So, take some time and do some additional research to see if these conferences may be right for you and fit your budget.
