On this week’s episode of the Atlanta Small Business Profile, small business expert Ted Jenkin speaks with Parish Kohanim, renowned commercial and fine art photographer, and founder of Parish Kohanim Studios.
While Parish was in college studying to be a geologist, he branched out into the arts and took a photography class as his last elective. From that point on, Parish knew that photography was the career he wanted to have for the rest of his life. In Parish’s words, photography has opened up a vast universe for him, and he has managed to turn his passion into a thriving business. During his illustrious career, his work has been featured in publications like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Time Magazine to name a few.
His clients have included IBM, Coca-Cola, and Fossil among others, and he has collected many accolades like Canon’s 50 Top Photographers in the World. Parish is also a member of Canon’s inaugural Legends Program class.
