Whether it’s at Piedmont Park, Ponce City Market, or at your local grocery store, chances are you’ve heard of our next guest. Today, we are on location at the King of Pops Worldwide HQ in downtown Atlanta with Steven Carse. Steven is the co-founder and CEO of King of Pops, and today we get to find out more about how this Atlanta local is bringing wholesome and natural ingredients back to frozen treats.
Now, King of Pops is a staple in the Atlanta community, and that unwavering support has allowed the company to expand its operations to Charleston, Richmond, Athens, Nashville, Savannah, and Charlotte. Steven credits this success to community engagement, excellent product quality, and a company culture that revolves around creating unexpected moments of happiness.Â
In addition to expanding their market, King of Pops is also integrating new business verticals with King of Compost and King of Crops. King of Compost was started in an effort to re-purpose the food waste that a popsicle business inevitably creates. King of Crops is a local farm where ingredients are grown for the pops. Sustainability is key for Steven, and both of these endeavors will not only help King of Pops, but will also provide opportunities to learn and teach others about sustainable practices.
