ASBN welcomes Jeff Hilimire, CEO and Co-Founder of Dragon Army, to discuss what inspired him to begin Dragon Army and the steps that the business takes in building a positive company culture in order to give a better customer experience.
Jeff describes Dragon Army as a purpose-driven digital agency, creating websites and mobile applications for companies such as Chick-Fil-A, Home Depot, Coca-Cola, etc. He says that the purpose of the company is to inspire happiness, meaning that they want every interaction they have with their clients to be a positive one.
One of the ways they do this is by building a trusting and honest relationship with their clients. Typically there is a sort of constant fight happening between a vendor and a client where neither is telling the other party the whole truth, but Jeff says that they want to break those walls down and start building better relationships with their clients.
Additionally, Jeff says that he started Dragon Army because he knew he wanted to build a company with more experience, but also a company that had a purpose and was able to make more of a positive impact on the world. Now after approximately five and a half years in business and about 30 employees Jeff says that he feels that with Dragon Army he was able to build something that is different and special.
