People Before Profits: How Forgeant is Helping Businesses Increase Employee Morale and Retention – Josh Drean

With the U.S. unemployment rate at historic lows, many businesses are looking for new ways to recruit top talent and keep them engaged for the long-haul. Recently, ASBN host Jim Fitzpatrick spoke with Josh Drean, Co-Founder and CEO of Forgeant, a software designed to monitor and analyze the employee experience in real-time. Josh also works closely with the team at the Harvard Innovation Labs, where he evaluates culture trends in high-performing startups and recreates their employee experience in larger corporations.

We started things off with Josh by discussing what has caused the explosive reach of the employee engagement industry, and why corporate mindsets continue to shift towards employee-first strategies. He then discussed the missed opportunities to invest in culture and how sentiment analysis can reshape the expectations of today’s HR department. He also tackled how Harvard Innovation Labs has piloted this research and supported the use and growth Forgeant.
