On today’s show, we’re pleased to welcome Amy Errett, CEO and Founder of Madison Reed, the popular hair color brand that has taken the billion-dollar beauty industry by storm.
In this segment, Errett and anchor Jim Fitzpatrick first discuss her entrepreneurial background and the inspiration behind creating Madison Reed. Errett is a long-time, serial entrepreneur and former venture capitalist who founded Madison Reed in 2013 with the mission to empower women with a convenient hair color product that has the lowest chemical profile possible. The hair color line allows women to have the freedom to color their hair safely at home, or in one of the many Madison Reed Color Bars.
In fact, this June, three color bars have opened in the Atlanta area. Due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus earlier this Spring and the subsequent stay-at-home orders, consumer demand for Madison Reed products has increased by 12 times and continues to climb. Madison Reed now has over 60 shades of hair color and relies on proprietary technology to color match the consumer perfectly and deliver the product in a timely manner.
