On this week’s episode of the Atlanta Small Business Profile, our host Ted Jenkin speaks with the Founder and CEO of Taste of Atlanta, Dale DeSena.
Dale started her entrepreneurial journey over 25 years ago by creating a custom publishing business that produced magazines. Her first client, Chastain Park Amphitheater, approached her with the idea to host a music festival which would later be known as Music Midtown. Dale was responsible for the ad and sponsorship sales, as well as other marketing campaigns for the festival, and that’s how she transitioned to event marketing.
Now in its 18th year, Taste of Atlanta’s three-day festival will host 30,000 guests and feature tastings from over 100 local restaurants. Tickets holders will also have access to cooking classes, demos, wine and beer tastings, and for the first time, a concert.
To find out more about Dale and Taste of Atlanta, be sure to watch the entire interview above. And don’t forget, Taste of Atlanta’s legendary three-day food festival returns to Historic Fourth Ward Park this October 18th – 20th. Click here to buy your tickets today!
