How Emory’s Goizueta Business School is Preparing Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs – Amelia Schaffner

On today’s show, we’re pleased to welcome Amelia Schaffner, Director of Entrepreneurship at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Amelia has 20 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, and entrepreneurship advisory and she is also a board member for Startup Atlanta.

In this segment, Amelia begins by discussing her background in the entrepreneurial community, and how she came to be the Director of Entrepreneurship at Emory. In addition to entrepreneurial class offerings, the program takes a multi-faceted approach to engage students and future business owners alike. We then find out what Amelia is hoping to accomplish as director, and how curriculum staples like Entrepreneurs in Residence and the RAISE Forum are excellent vehicles to nurture and foster the next generation of entrepreneurs.
