ASBN was recently on-location at the 2019 TiECON Atlanta with Jennifer Georgino, Consultant at DealBox and moderator of the TiE Breakout Session: Innovation in Atlanta. During the session, top Atlanta executives including Alex Gonzalez of the Metro Atlanta Chamber, Hermang Dave of IBM, and Mahesh Gupta of Delta Airlines share how their enterprises are seeking out and investing in innovative startups and technologies to continue building and growing their companies.
Jennifer began her career in the legal field but has always been interested in new and innovative technologies. A few years ago, she was introduced to blockchain technology at an Atlanta-based event, and discovered self-executing digitized contracts. From that point on, Jennifer continued on the blockchain path and began working for a small ICO startup. She was also the editor of Blockchain Healthcare review online for a few years, and sits on the board of the Georgia Blockchain Coalition.
During the TiECON breakout session, Jennifer was responsible for facilitating the discussion around how startups and founders can access and work with a large corporation or Fortune 50 company. It’s difficult to get noticed by corporations like Delta or IBM, so the panel served to offer insight and advice to entrepreneurs about programs and they can utilize.
